What is ERIC? (cont.)

At the top of each ERIC record there is an accession number (AN) preceded by an EJ or an ED.

The EJ stands for an ERIC journal file. You would look in the library stacks for the journal called Teaching Students Mathematics to find this article...

...while the ED stands for an ERIC document file. You would go to the Education Library to get this document, it is located in microfiche. The six-digit access number following the ED is the cataloging number where the microfiche is indexed.
