  A ski instructor watches a brilliant fireworks display above the slopes after a long day on the mountain. This photograph was taken by Jim Epler at 6:24 PM on 12/20/2007 in Vail, CO at the Beaver Creek Resort.   This image was recorded on digital media using a Canon Digital Rebel xTi camera with a Canon 17-40mm f/4 L lens stopped to 4.5 and exposed at a speed of 10 secs.
