This image was recorded on digital media using a Canon EOS Rebel v300 (Ti) camera with a Canon 17-40mm f/4 L lens stopped to f 11 and exposed at a speed of 1/250 sec. Photographer Comments: The Great Buddha is the second largest Buddha statue in Japan and is located on the grounds of the Kotokuin temple in Kamakura. It originally resided in a large temple hall that was washed away in a tsunami wave at the end of the 15th century.
