A study in light and darkness in the rafters and curve of track inside a train station. This photograph dated April 07, 1992 was taken by Jim Epler in the spring in York, UK on the train platform. It is cataloged under the terms travel, cities, architecture, transportation and townscapes in this photography database.

The image was exposed on 35mm Kodak GOLD 100 color film stock using a Kodak point and shoot camera with a lens.

Photographer Comments: I've always been fascinated with train stations and the romanticism surrounding this form of travel.

Additionally, Jim thought of search words that someone might use to locate this picture including the terms dark and light, roof, railroad tracks, contrast, train station, rafters, platform, York, England, travel, travel, commuter and trains, so he included these on this page as a service to himself and others who would like to download this free photograph!
