Please read the following and post your responses to the questions on the discussion board.

leaves in the fallTwo weeks have passed since Philip Epler accepted AVU’s offer to lead the design and delivery of training for their new Integrated Systems Project, or ISP.

AVU’s ISP is a multi-year project to replace virtually all financial, human resource and student information systems with a modern, integrated set of software applications (an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system). The University has chosen Oracle Corporation as the vendor to provide the ERP. This is the largest administrative project EVER conducted by the University! While under his six month contract, Philip will report to the University’s Chief Information Officer, Marti Kay Kinzie.

Philip used to work for Performance Training Solutions (PTS). As an instructional designer for the firm, he designed Internet, computer and print-based instructional materials. In addition, he developed a variety of facilitator-led workshops aimed at end-users of integrated enterprise systems. He quit his job as PTS eight months ago and has since been working as an independent consultant. This will be his first large-scale project since leaving PTS.
