What is ERIC?

The ERIC database is the world’s largest source of education information. ERIC (Educational Resource Information Center) is an information system sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education that provides citations and summaries for documents such as conference papers, curriculum materials, literature reviews, state and federal government publications, and research reports.

ERIC documents are reproduced on microfiche. The University of Virginia has purchased the ERIC microfiche set, it can be accessed at the Educational Library in Ruffner Hall. Filing Cabinent
